We get that the membership in $12.50 a year, but what is the cost of the monthly health care. My husband say he wants to sign up but I told we need to check the cost first.

Dee Ann, as mentioned in the article above, AARP does offer health insurance for people age 50 and above. Contact AARP directly for information on monthly premiums. It's a great idea to compare costs with other insurers too! You can do that on your own or seek out an insurance broker's assistance.

It sounds like your ankle is one the mend! There are many great sports facilities in Phoenix. A Google search using "sports club phoenix" will direct you to many options.

Good luck with your rehab!

Ms. Strickland,

Sometimes online email takes several days to get an answer. I suggest that you call AARP health at 1-800-523-5800. If they can't answer your question, just ask to be transferred to the appropriate department.

Thanks for your question.

It appears from your comment that you are age 44. AARP Health Insurance is only available to individuals who are age 50 or older. Many other companies offer supplemental insurance. Check out the list of companies in the Medicare Supplemental article here at LoveToKnow Insurance.

Susan,

Everyone's tax situation is different, so it is difficult to give you a specific answer to your question. I suggest that you contact the Ohio Department of Taxation by posting an email on their website or by phone at 614-433-7603.

Thank you for your question and for visiting LoveToKnow Insurance.
