Dismiss Apprehension

Some policyholders are apprehensive about filing an insurance claim dispute for a few reasons:

• They don't want to confront a large entity like an insurer.
• They fear they may be wrong.
• They don't want to deal with the potential time commitment.
• They are afraid they will wind up in court.

If you are obviously owed money from an insurer then you should not be apprehensive about a dispute. Insurance companies are not infallible and have procedures in place to take a second look when necessary.
