General Home Inventory Form
Do you have a complete inventory of the items in your home? If you ever need to file an insurance claim after a theft, fire or natural disaster, you'll likely be asked to provide the adjuster with documentation of the items that were taken or destroyed. It will be much easier to deal with your insurance claim if you already have a complete inventory detailing the items you own, when you purchased them and approximately how much you paid for them. The attached general inventory form is designed to help you create such a document.

Update and Secure Your Home Inventory
Putting together a home inventory is something that every homeowner should do. It's also important to update the document on a regular basis so that it will be relatively current in the event that you have to file an insurance claim. It's also essential to store your inventory document in a secure location outside of your home such as a safe deposit box. The document will not be of use to you if it is lost, damaged or destroyed.
